Dr. Jordan Sudberg – Experienced Physiatrist and Medical Researcher
Specializing in musculoskeletal disorders and pain management, Dr. Jordan Sudberg is the CEO and medical director at Spine & Sports Rehabilitation. In helping patients achieve peak athletic performance and elite fitness, he offers a range of rehabilitative services, including physical and mobility therapy, movement disorder exercises, and pain medicine consultation and injections. Dr. Jordan Sudberg is certified in ultrasound-guided injections and is additionally skilled in Synvisc, steroid injections, and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) and electromyography (EMG) tests. He caters to patients in New York City and Long Island, New York.
Complementing his work at Spine & Sports Rehabilitation, Dr. Jordan Sudberg belongs to the American Council on Exercise, American Fitness and Aerobics Association, and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR). As a medical student mentor with AAPMR earlier in his career, he helped students navigate the residency application process. Dr. Jordan Sudberg also holds membership with the Association of American Physiatrists and World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography.
Dr. Sudberg has treated patients at Spine & Sports Rehabilitation since 2018, prior to which he managed a physical medicine and rehabilitation practice at Herald Square in NYC. He has additional pain management experience at a Long Island private practice and at United Wellness Medical PC. He also spent time as a research scientist at Harvard Medical School and Columbia University, working in the Department of Tissue Engineering at Massachusetts General Hospital and in the Exercise Physiology Lab, respectively.
Dr. Sudberg received his doctor of medicine (MD) from St. George's University. He completed an internal medicine internship at Staten Island University Hospital and a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital. He also in involved in continuing medical education courses, including cadaver injection labs and lecture programs.
